Common Questions

What's the difference between the plans?
Start ($59) suits an owner-operator: 2 office users and 1 truck. Pro ($89) adds billing automation, replying to customers and the rest of the automated alerts, with 3 users and 2 trucks. Crew ($199) has unlimited users and trucks. Employees, customers and job sites are unlimited on every plan.
What happens after the 14-day free trial?
You'll be prompted to pick a plan and enter a card — from $59/month. If you decide not to continue, your account simply stops — no charges, no cancellation fees. We don't auto-charge without you knowing it's coming.
Do I need a credit card to start the trial?
No. Create your account and get full access for 14 days with no card required. You only enter payment info if you decide to keep going after the trial.
How many users can I add?
Office users: 2 on Start, 3 on Pro, unlimited on Crew. Drivers using the driver app are unlimited on every plan, and so are customers and job sites — you are never billed per user or per customer.
Where does it work?
PortaPottyBossPro works in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the UK, and bills your customers in their own currency. The texts included in every plan cover the US and Canada.
What's the texting pricing?
In the US and Canada, Start includes 500 texts a month, Pro 1,000, and Crew 2,000 — sent and received. A text is 160 characters; a longer one counts as two. If you go over, you can add blocks of 500 for $15 each.
How does auto-routing pricing work?
Start includes 50 auto-routes a month, Pro 100, and Crew 1,000. Go over and 250 more are added automatically for $5 - your dispatcher is never stopped mid-day. Smart Lasso map selections are unlimited on every plan.
Are there any contracts or annual commitments?
None. Month to month, always. Cancel anytime from your account settings.
Does this work for my kind of porta potty rental company?
Yes. Deliveries, weekly service, extra pump-outs and pickups all run the same way — a service, the unit types and quantities, a price and a place on the waiting list. Construction sites, events and homeowners all fit, with standard units, flushing units, ADA units, high-rise units, hand wash stations and restroom trailers. It works for a one-truck owner-operator or a company running a whole fleet.
Can I bill contractors once a month?
Yes. Set each contractor or commercial customer up as a Monthly account. Every delivery, service and pickup at every one of their sites goes on ONE statement each month, with each line labeled with the site address.
Does it bill extra rental days?
Yes. Every rental has a delivered date, a picked-up date, the days included and a per-day rate after that. The lists show how long each unit has been out — "Out since 10/3 (12 days, 4 extra)" — and the extra days are added to the invoice automatically.
Can I import my existing customers?
Yes. Bring your customer list over from a spreadsheet or a CSV export from your old software on any plan.
